Federation alliances
How to do it?
You can join another federation in a pact, promising not to attack each other or to join forces against another federation. It is possible for 2 federations to declare war against 1 federation.
How is it done?
Both federation promise not to attack each other. All members should follow that restriction. However, members can still attack the other ally's members because this alliance is not binding. Just ensure your members check the details of any empire prior to attacking that empire. Leaders should also dicipline members who break this law (unless if this is what the leader wants, which is a conspiracy)
What to watch out for?
Since this alliance depends on trust, any party can turn against the other. Ensure you know the leader well before joining or starting an alliance.
